Vet Tech
De Ann Snyder, LVT
In patient nurse, has been with us since January 2005. I have 12 years of experience as a licensed veterinary technician. I have finally found a place to call home, the quality of care for my pets and the clients pets always seems to be above and beyond. I have 2 dogs, 2 cats, 2 horses, 1 turtle, a lizard, four children and a husband.

Practice Manager
Kathy Hawkins
Practice Manager has lived in the foothill area since 1988. Shortly after arriving in the area I began working for Sierra Veterinary Hospital. I have 2 horses, 7 sheep, 3 goats, 4 dogs, 3 cats, and I am a puppy raiser for Guide Dogs for the Blind.

Out Patient Nurse
Janet Turner
Out patient nurse, the person that helps you began your visit at Sierra Veterinary Hospital. Moved to the foothill area in 1993, and has worked here since 1999. Janet is married, and has two adult married children living in the area, starting families of their own. I have always loved and been concerned for animals. I volunteered at the Chaffee Zoo giving tours to schoolchildren, worked at the Auberry feed store for 6 years. Was lucky enough to get a job here at Sierra
Veterinary Hospital, (my dream come true). I’m very proud and feel honored to work with such great doctors, as Dr. Sallie and Dr. Jackie. Our hospital has a dedicated staff to offer you education and support for you and your pet.

Pharmacy/Labratory
Julie McGuinness
Out patient nurse assistant and pharmacy technician, has worked for Sierra Veterinary Hospital for 6 years. I am the mother of 2 humans, 5 dogs and 9 cats and the wife of Patrick. I enjoy my job tremendously as well as fly fishing and photography.

Tami Hale
In patient nurse assist, lab technician, starting working at Sierra Veterinary Hospital in July, 2005. I was raised in the animal industry…My family bred and showed Great Pyrenees dogs, many of our dogs were used in the movies. I have also showed Rottweilers and horses as an adult. I have two beautiful daughters and a small zoo of…You name it, I got it at home. I have worked as a technician for over 15 years and love every minute of it. I have spent many years rescuing and rehabbing
animals from wild to domestic and even exotic. I give special thanks to my orphan kitten Purr-C. If I hadn’t adopted her, I wouldn’t have found this wonderful job.
